Well, she gave birth this week.

Cow #86 wasn’t as low-functioning after all:

Where’s smoke there’s fire, right?

But because we’re marketers, and we get to cherry pick our opinions…

Ok but humility aside:

I’ve heard 77 objections….

to this whole getting leads through content thing.

……Not least of which….. because of unstable reach.

Look.

I get it.

Building online is scary.

Organic reach is down across platforms.

(except for X apparently. Can we talk about that???)

Investing time & money in producing content that AIN’T short-form video….

Seems risky at best.

  • Unstable.

  • Uncertain.

  • Unreasonable.

Worse:

Results are asymmetric… with 0 guarantees.

(try telling this to your average ROI enthusiast)

But…

Let’s be honest…

How screwed are you, really?

Is writing for socials a waste of your efforts?

Ain’t paying for ads the safer bet?

Lemme stop you there for a sec.

There’s no such thing as ‘safe’:

  • ad costs are rising

  • most ad agencies suck

  • a strong brand on socials cuts their costs…

unlike anything else.

So YES, organic reach is an uphill battle.
